INFORMATION

The Glitter Ball and the Snow Ball are two separate Christmas parties which are held every year in Cambridge to help raise valuable funds for local children’s charities. The parties are run by a committee of mums who give up their time voluntarily to support a good cause and, over the years, the balls have raised considerable sums for Blue Smile, EACH, Red Balloon and The Sick Children’s Trust at Addenbrookes. The key is to provide a fun evening for the children in a safe environment and at the same time support a worthy children’s charity. The parties are packed with entertainment such as dancing, snacks and candy floss, raffle prizes and face painting and almost all the money raised from ticket sales is passed on to the charity.

The Glitter Ball is aimed at children in year groups 5 and 6 and the Snow Ball is for children in years 7 and 8.  We include boys and girls from schools across Cambridge as well as the edges of Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Come and join the fun!
